Sihanoukville is a beach resort and is the most popular tourist attraction in the Gulf of Thailand. It was named after the former king Norodom Sihanouk. The last battle between Vietnam and America was fought in Sihanoukville.


The sandy and rocky beaches here are very popular for off the shore snorkelling. If you are a party animal Sihanoukville is perfect for you as the town offers an awesome nightlife.
